ABC Maine invites all members, employees, and their family members to participate in the 7th Annual Big Buck Contest during Maine's hunting season. This is your chance to showcase your hunting skills and compete for great prizes!
Entry Details
- Entry Fee: $25 per person
- Special Group Rate: Register three hunters and get the fourth hunter FREE!
Note: This contest is exclusive to ABC Maine members, their employees, and immediate family members.
Deadline:
Registrations must be submitted no later than Friday, November 1st, by 5:00 PM.
Contest Rules
- Contestants must adhere to all hunting laws and regulations set by the state of Maine.
- All participants must have the necessary permits to legally hunt deer in Maine for the 2024 season.
- A photo of the harvested deer must be submitted along with proof of weight, date, and time from the tagging station (a photo of the tagging station ticket works).
- Only deer harvested between November 4th and December 7th, 2024 are eligible for prizes.
- Entries will be scored based on information provided at the tagging station.
- In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the submission date and time.
- Out-of-state harvests are not permitted.
- ABC Maine and its sponsors are not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the contest.
- Previous Big Buck winners must wait one year before participating again.
- Member-only participation.
Prizes
- Highest Dressed Weight: $500
- Big Buck Bonus: Weekly drawing from submitted registration forms for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Cabela's.
